Seneca cafe

I really wanted to be impressed with the food, especially for the price and location. Sadly I was disappointed. The sand which was bland and obviously just thrown together on a recently thawed bun. I did enjoy the soup, however I have had plenty of carton big box soups in my life and I was not expecting that in this restaurant. No amount of table seasoning was helping. My friend had the same experience with a differnt soup. Up charged cause I guess they need the money to add a bit of flavor. Regardless, what a huge let down.

This is our go-to for late night pizza whenever we stay at Seneca Allegany. They have a limited menu available for take away so I can only speak to the pizza, which is always delicious and reasonably priced. The most recent pizza we had was AWESOME- and we know pizza! Be patient, only one person was working the last few times we went , but it was well worth the wait! The next morning, we paid way too much for overpriced Starbuck’s coffee at this cafe but that’s Starbucks for you! (Almost $4 US for a tea bag and a takeaway cup of hot water)

I’m going to start off by saying apparently they have employees that never show up and it’s a constant thing. Second the waitress says the kitchen won’t cook food well done. Third I ordered nachos they taste like dog food I ate one chip and sent it back. The salad my husband ordered was cold the meat tasted store bought. The croutons wasn’t croutoning. Then we ordered burgers .The fries that are supposed to be Fresh were stale. And not even hot. The burgers weren’t steamy and they were not seasoned they literally tasted like what came on it. Mushrooms and Swiss. And the bill came out to be $70 the burgers were not worth $20 the salad was not worth $20. I’m so pissed we wasted so much money and weren’t satisfied. I felt sick after. I still left a tip because it’s not the waitress fault the

We waiting quite awhile to finally get our food. When my husband went to eat his mashed potatoes he pulled out something the size of a golf ball, it was black and hard. We told the waitress she got the chef and he says “that doesn’t look good”. He ask if we wanted new potatoes. We told him to take the plate back and give a new sandwich with fries. I asked to see the manager and she not sympathetic to what just happened and she says “I didn’t see it so I don’t know but “I found out that it was a rotten potato”. I said does that make it ok because it was a rotten potato. We knew it wasn’t a rotten potato because it was so hard. We had to wait quite awhile for a new plate of food, I was already done eating mine. No offer of any compensation. Terrible experience! Do not eat there

They advertise that they are open late, but good luck getting waited on or even greeted. We arrive at 10:10pm to a less than half full restaurant. We were seated within a couple of minutes by someone we weren't sure if she spoke or not as she say nothing to us. After sitting at the table for more than 20 minutes and watching multiple tables receive food, bills, drinks etc - we were hopeful someone on the staff would at least say hello - no such luck - so we decided to leave and on the way out the very same woman who sat us, told us to have a good night. We told her we were never even waited on and we were leaving, she said sorry to hear that and walked away. Bon appetit.
