Senorita Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar

The place is beautiful and the scenery is amazing. It's right off the water and you are able to sit outside. (Weather permitting) However, it's name is "Senorita Mexican ..." But there wasn't a single waitress or staff that we could see that was a woman. We waited over 5 minutes to be seated. Other then that is worth the experience and the food. 🌮💚

the portions here are unexpected. empanadas are on the appetizer menu, and i expected small enough to for in my hand. hadn't expected that I'd need 2 hand to eat it! i think the smallest thing i saw was the cup for the salsa with the chips. i picture this location having the tables out front filled at race week and whenever there's a big event. granted that we stopped by closer to closing, the service was very attentive and everything came out hot, almost that it traveled straight from the pan or fryer directly to the plate (other places the food is much cooler, still warm. not a bad thing, mind you.) I'd come back with a group, next time to enjoy it with friends.

This was a last minute dinner pick for us - it was a good choice and it will be for you too. Let's start by saying, the portions are pretty large. Either be prepared or be hungry for that. The molcajete was stellar, cooked to perfection, with great flavor. The guacamole was also great - topped with tons of jalapenos (if you are into that like I am 🔥). It was definitely fresh and made in house, so extra points. I will also mention that the portions are not limited to the food. The jumbo and monster margaritas are first.. delicious and exactly what they say they are.. jumbo and monster. So, I hope you are thirsty as well. Finally an actual Mexican food restaurant. Food is great location is perfect environment and decor are a nice touch. We really liked the Service no rush at all. Seating is spectacular. We will definitely be back.
