I am a business school professor of marketing and received an unsolicited email from Sentia Publishing asking to publish my course work that I’ve produced. When I researched them on-line and saw the negative reviews, I responded to the email pointing out that they should fix existing client relationships before they try to get new ones. I received series of nasty emails from their president, William England, that included the following: “Given our apparently terrible reviews with students who want free books and hate us for being capitalistic, we understand why the reviews were negative. We don’t want you as an author. Good luck!” I can’t imagine ever wanting to do business of any kind with a company that has this sort of leadership. This is what we teach our students not to do.
