This place is a classic Chinese restaurant. Decor is old school and grand (circa 1985). Food was excellent and fast. My husband was impressed with the sauces on the beef entrees. The waiter, Alan was wonderful. He told us he had 200,000 hours of experience serving! He’s eager to discuss the menu choices - just ask!
Always been one of my favorites. The place is classic and not many places like this left. My aunt use to take us to Crestwood mall in the 1980s and 1990s. I have been going here that long. Great service and great food!! You also get your meal on real china plates if you dine in. It's not like other places it's old school!!
Chose this restaurant for a bite to eat for lunch while my car was getting work done on by the amazing team at MIDAS. The staff allowed me inside with my longboard and gave me a seat in one of two main dining areas. I was the only customer at the one side. I was served and given exceptional service. I had leftovers and was given additional leftovers. That was very nice touch! I recommend this restaurant! It was clean and very friendly.
The food was delicious! Both entrees had great flavors and nice portions (we took most of both entrees home). The beef on the appetizer plate was very, very tasty. We didn't eat the calamari ringa because they were rubbery. Otherwise, everything was excellent. The server was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered an appetizer and had just about finished when our entrees arrived. The place was very empty but it was Christmas Eve. The only downside was the bathrooms. Both bathrooms were unkempt and dingy looking. It's an old building, so it may just look dingy because of the age. We will definitely return to try other dishes.
Been coming here for 30 years. Their egg rolls & house special beef & Jasmine tea were the best! Now their handmade egg rolls are abo good & I don't know what step they miss but the dough of the wrapper is not cooked thru & doughy inside no matter how dark or crispy they are outside. Is it a thicker wrapper? Are 2 stuck together? Are they not being rolled thin enough? Did the old owners have a technique that cooked them all the way thru every time when they were in charge? The cabbage & pork is the same? There might be less but almost as full? My BF & I could each eat 4 they were so good but now we can hardly eat one! We're not the only ones who noticed. It's been going on since Covid & the people who ran it everyday stopped being there. The house special beef isn't the same either. I'm lu
