Very interesting experience overall. I’ll give them some credit because I came in with a party of 16, so it wasn’t a complete disaster, but there were definitely a few issues. The biggest problem was how they handled the bill. They don’t seem to have a consistent or efficient system for splitting checks. Even though I tried calling ahead to ask about splitting tabs (and didn’t get an answer), when we arrived they gave us one large bill for the entire table. I ended up putting everything on my card, which was a headache to divide later. On top of that, they add a mandatory 20% service charge ($71) to the total bill, plus a $12 credit card fee, which makes it awkward and not very compelling to add any additional tip—especially when you can’t split tabs in the first place. For large groups,

We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Alfredo pasta. The food, portion sizes, and service were all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside was that our table was a bit too close to the kitchen area, so we often had servers passing by with plates.

From appetizers to desserts, an authentic experience. We loved the warm bread basket. The Ceasar Salad was light, crisp and well portioned. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was perfectly seasoned, the chicken was plenty. The potatoe fingerlings were seasoned well also. The desserts were fresh sweet and a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service was amazing and there was much attention to every little detailed. Wonderful place to dine if you’re in DC

The food was very good. We came for HH. We sat at the bar. We had the Caesar salad with balsamic and a little Caesar dressing. It was very good. The crotons tasted like they were homemade. We had the meatballs, they were okay, a little dense. They should come with toasted bread. We had the salmon tartare. That was excellent. That came with toasted bread. And then we shared the linguine frutti di mare. That was very good but when they bring it to you they should have the Parmesan with them to put it on top, although I like when you can do it yourself. Our waitress was nice but she could have been a little more friendly. Once the restaurant started getting busy, she was very busy and didn’t really do anything to ask us if we wanted dessert, etc. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for

We’re down in Washington DC visiting for a few days and this is one of the restaurants that I chose for dinner. It was only about a half a mile walk from our Airbnb and the weather is very warm down here so it was a nice night for a walk. As soon as we walked into the restaurant it was very warm in there, They really should’ve had the a/c on. We were offered to eat outside in the tent, but we decided to stay inside anyway. The space was very busy and it can get loud. We both started out with a glass of wine, which both were good. For appetizers, we shared the focaccia bread basket and arancini. When the focaccia came out, it really just looked like baked pizza dough. It was very thin. It was seasoned with garlic and spices, it did have good flavor overall. The Arancini with red sauce was g
