Shah's Halal Food - Stratford

Everything was well when i got the food until i arrived back to work to eat and i noticed a small hair in my food. Took it out and put it behind something white so it’s easier to see (placed in the center of photo vertically). I was check NO: 45 and the time was 1/27/2026 1:27pm on the receipt. I often see hair in homecooked meals from my family so this isnt really a big deal for me but i still feel like its important to mention that this did in fact happen. I hope they make sure that this dosent happen again. I really liked the food and would want to eat again worry free.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I went to Shah’s Halal Food and got the chicken over rice OMG 🔥 the food was sooo good. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor, the rice was perfect, and the sauce took it to the next level. Great portion size and everything tasted super fresh. Easily one of the best halal spots in Stratford. I’ll definitely be back!

I'm extremely happy about this new location, I used to go to Bridgeport, they were so nice, they even wrote "him" so I can know which one is for me, I didn't say anything, they heard me when I said "and for him", what a nice touch from them! Good music, really quick and good quantity and quality. Very clean and neat. My new favorite spot!

Very Delicious Halal Restaurant! After a long tough day, finding a good food Halal Restaurant is what we needed, and I'm happy I chose this restaurant. This place opened recently. It's so clean, very well designed, it's beautiful. A young girl and Mumin (a guy from Sudan) helped us with our order. They joth were very friendly and smiling despite the late hour. So you choose your food type and extras (some for free and for little extra $) can be added on your plater which was something new for me in Halal food restaurants, because usually wenare buying pre-fixed platers. So, this feature was very cool. I added fried sliced potatoes 5 pcs for 75 cents, and they were crunchy and very tasty. I had chicken over rice, and my husband had lamb over rice.
