The ice caramel latte from Shakalaka Bakery is a delightful treat! The oat milk perfectly balances the rich caramel flavor, creating a creamy, smooth experience. It's definitely one of their top drinks. Don’t miss out on their other stuff like their signature cakes which I’ve heard a lot about. The cakes are my friends most delicious and I’ve been wanting to try it!

Best bakery in Flushing hands down. If you are a Flushing gourmet, I guess you already know that some of the Chinese bakeries are more of old-schooled and some are kore modern. Shakalaka definitely is on the modern side of the spectrum. New recipes, new kinds of bread, their bakers just know how to balance the flavors of bread and star ingredients (meat floss/taro/rice/bean paste/etc) well.

Shakalaka Bakery is such a cute spot in Flushing! Tons of fresh pastries and sweets, and everything looks amazing. Not too sweet, just really good and flavorful. Perfect place to grab a treat or take some desserts home. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area! Our main favorites are the Mango Pomelo and Matcha cakes!

Went to Shakalaka Bakery in Flushing today. They have a bunch of really pretty cakes — like the kind you end up staring at for way too long because you can’t decide. We grabbed a few to try, and they were actually pretty good. Not too sweet and really soft. The shop is super clean and everything’s nicely set up. And I heard it’s the same owner as SALSWEE in Manhattan, which kinda makes sense once you see the style 😂 Anyway, if you’re in Flushing and feel like getting a cute cake, this place is worth a try. Pretty solid overall.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Shakalaka for a long time now! Every time a friend has a birthday, this is my absolute go-to spot for cakes. Not only are the designs stunning and perfect for gifting, but the prices are also incredibly reasonable. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, too. I highly recommend them to everyone!
