Customer Reviews
I was in Cincinnati for work and Shanghai on Elm was right by my hotel. The food was amazing! I think I ended up getting food from there at least 5 times during my trip. The teriyaki chicken was amazing, and I really enjoyed the crispy chicken compared to the traditional grilled chicken. I also tried the sweet and sour chicken and the sesame chicken during my other meals and everything was delicious. I both dined-in and got takeout. The portions are generous, and my takeout was just as delicious as when I dined in. The dining room has a nice relaxed vibe, and the staff are all really nice and great at recommending dishes to try. The lychee martini is top notch too. If I ever find myself in Cincinnati again I will definitely be back!
Our new favorite spot. Used to be my favorite like 20 years ago(old location) but I finally started bring my family there and everyone loves it. We ate there Christmas eve. It was awesome! The location is right off the highway too into downtown so you can go out but not get stuck in gobs of traffic.
I ordered through UberEats quite a few times. The chicken fried rice is some of the best fried rice I’ve had. I tried the Singapore Noodles and I don’t think I’ll eat anything else (jk, I love trying different dishes) but seriously it was that good. So flavorful, I didn’t eat it all in one sitting so when I came back to it, it had even more flavor! Whatever you decide to order I am positive you won’t be disappointed.
I used to frequent Shanghai Mama’s back in their old location, because the service and food were always great. I recently discovered Shanghai on Elm which is their new location and name, and the food seems to only have gotten better. I ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Big Noodle Soup Bowl and was able to customize it by adding some of my favorite items. It was not only delicious but was enough food for two meals. Will definitely be frequenting this spot once again.
Disappointed. It was just ok - not inspired. There are many other options for this style of food at lower cost. I would skip & try someplace else. The service was great, though!
