Shantell personally handled the catering for our Sunbelt Rentals Sanford holiday lunch, and everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Shantell and her team even came in on a day when the restaurant wasn’t open just to take care of us. When we arrived for pickup, the food was hot, ready to go, and she had thoughtfully provided food warmers as well. She truly went above and beyond and put smiles on the faces of 40+ people with her amazing food. Shantell is not only an award-winning small business owner, she’s an amazing person. Love this place! The food is incredible ESPECIALLY the wings! They also have karaoke at night and it’s so much fun! Lima (I think that’s how it’s spelled) is so sweet and she’ll even join in on karaoke! ITS A MUST VISIT!

Beautiful restaurant thats minutes from Fort Mellon Lakefront Park. Best Soul food in Sanford😋 Well seasoned, fast arrival, and fulfilling portions! I got the Sunday Dinner 🍽 with: Jerk Chicken, Mac n Cheese, fries, and candied yams 🍠 😋 Shantell is such a wonderful person, inside and out! Her and her family are wonderful and friendly staff. I felt well taken care of🥰🥰 so much love in this business 💕 every dollar is worth investing into this restaurant.

The service and ambience were excellent. I ordered the lemonade , fried chicken ,and mac & cheese for $25, which is understandable in this economy. The mac & cheese was very fresh, but it lacked seasoning in my opinion. Aside from that, everything else was solid.

Whenever I’m anywhere near this area, Shantell’s is without question the stop we have to make. She’s added new menu items I’d love to try but I can’t seem to tear myself away from the BEST FRIED CHICKEN ON THE PLANET. A lot of her veggies come out of her garden and you can tell her food is made with love. Kudos to her business for being community-minded and she’s passionate about helping the less fortunate around her. I’ve been blessed meeting this caliber of a business woman during my visit here in FL. I may have to book a $49 SW Airline flight from TX when I can’t stand the craving anymore!
