Super friendly staff and AMAZING food!! We got the Jerk Lamb to start, it was so flavorful and tender with a little kick of spice. My mouth waters just looking back at the pictures! Entrees were crab and shrimp pasta and chicken and rice with asparagus. Everything was wonderfully made. Cocktails were tasty too and very pretty, unfortunately we got too excited to take pictures of them😅 I would make the 2 hour drive back just to eat here again.

Went there on a Sunday for dinner (2/15) and I was not disappointed. I thought it would be ghetto and it was... very! The hostess was walking towards us when we entered on the phone and did not greet us. She proceeds to grab menus and says I'll seat you in the back by the dance floor, because tables are not cleaned yet. The waitress Toya was a bit unconcerned and when asked for a straw she forgot and when asked again she threw it on the table. They didn't have the bar q salmon (again not surprised), the crab cake was very salty The food did not look anything like the menu. We ordered the chicken and rice, it took a good long time for the food to come out, the gravy was very runny And my chicken and asparagus were overcooked , the chicken and rice was not good , I didn't touch the asp

Our evening at Shantel’s was awesome. We were celebrating our mother’s birthday. We were immediately greeted and our server May was pleasurable and attentive at the onset of the evening and her customer service was exemplary. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes and Honey Cornbread for the appetizer. The tomatoes were crunchy and tender and extremely flavorful. The honey cornbread was warm, just sweet enough and comforting. My mom had the Oxtails and Grits, my sister had the Vegetarian Medley and I had the Crab and Shrimp Pasta. All the dishes were deliciously flavorful and cooked to perfection!!! The pasta had an excellent and balanced seafood to pasta ratio. The portions are excellent. The vibe was so mellow. We will definitely be coming back!

My first visit with a group of 15. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was good. The food was just ok. Except the Mac and Cheese was DELICIOUS!! I ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, my entree fried chicken which included the sides of Mac and Cheese and Kale Greens seasoned with smoked turkey. The greens were a No for me. I asked them to be replaced with the roasted asparagus and the waitress replied that it was ok and would return with the asparagus. I Never received the asparagus.😫 The fried tomatoes and wings were good. My friends had Catfish/Sphagetti, Crab/Shrimp Paslta, Salmon, and Chicken and Rice. The chicken and rice dish was not good according to my friend said it was very bland and tasted like hotel banquet food. The crab/shrimp pasta received an ok but also

My husband and I enjoyed this late date night at Shantel’s, as we arrived about 45 minutes before the kitchen was scheduled to close. We were not sure what to expect as this was our first time dining here AND we were a bit late getting there. But our server, Yay, was Awesome young lady who made us feel comfortable although we knew time was of the essence! She took our drink orders then another server assisted her to make sure our orders were taken. Yay communicated quickly that an item I initially ordered (salmon) was sold out, allowing me to make another choice. I was glad I did because the Oxtails & Mashed Potatoes were SO GOOD! 😋 My husband said the same about his Crab & Shrimp Pasta, and Cobb Salad! The portions were SOOOO substantial that we KNEW we could not eat all of that food in
