What a great 'hole in the wall' 'dive' bar. Food and service was excellent. I hand the shrimp(blakenened) basket and they were actual shrimp, not shrimp meat formed to look like shrimp.
Wow! On Fridays, you have to order the shrimp, sausage, corn, red potato. Spicy and good! They start cooking and serving at 6pm. Well worth it.
My husband and I really enjoyed this place! We had excellent service with a smile, delicious fresh food and no wait time! Will def be going back!
Sharkies is definitely a must go to in Port O'Connor. There is a bar area with pool tables and a separate dining area if you don't care to eat at the bar. All of the staff are courteous, helpful with the menu, and happy to assist you. Everything is good there from their burgers, to their seafood and delicious specials. And before I have to return home, I will always have the fried froglegs!
Great food! Friday and Saturday have grilled specials like ribeyes and shrimp. Awesome!
