Shaver Lake Lodge at The Point

Great location with a deck looking out at the lake. Staff was friendly and service was pretty fast for us. The food was ok. Nothing wrong, but pretty standard fare.

Food was expensive but the portions were large. We had a great friendly waitress. The view was wonderful.

The waitress was super friendly. The food portions are very good. The food quality is ok. My steak sandwich was over cooked. The table next to use ordered the calzone, which looks like it could feed 3. Prices were a bit high. My cocktail was weak.

It took over an hour for food to come out and service was sparse. The price was too much for the quality and definitely for the service. We should have spent our time at the lake instead.

I have been twice, the first time was the service was bad. There seemed to be alot of confusion about where we were to sit. The Beer seemed to have some off flavors like it was not quite finished like a home brewed beer.. soooooo we stop again this trip to see if they have got things together.. Hmmm NOT!! We walk up no customers in waiting area, two tables inside had guests, an the patio was half full. There are 2 of us and we asked to sit on patio on this beautiful day.... the hostess tells us Sorry the patio is for large groups only of 4 or more people... if they were packed I might have understood but as you can see by my picture not full on patio and no one waiting and almost empty inside..needless to say we went and spent our money on beer and food at the Pub and Grub and the service
