Shekinah Glory African Restaurant

For starters I ordered on door dash 20 minutes before they closed! When I say this has been some of the best African food I’ve had in Baltimore. I ordered two jollof platters one with fish and the other with beef! For $17 both platters were full and very good! (Very spicy so beware if you can’t handle it) I would definitely be back because I was very skeptical ordering so late at night and my food tasted fresh like they had just opened for the day!!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I ordered the beef with rice and fried wings with fries, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The wings and fries should be described as cold, burned wings and fries. To say the wings were overcooked is an understatement — they were nearly inedible, dry, and absolutely unpleasant to eat. The fries were just as bad, limp, and cold. The beef and rice were average at best, but after biting into those wings, I lost my appetite altogether. This was not worth the money, and honestly, I feel like I deserve a refund. Shekinah Glory needs to seriously step up their food quality if they want returning customers.

I love their food. I always get the white rice with fish, and it comes with spicy spinach and plantain (sweet). The mama of the house is awesome easy to talk to and will help you go through the menu.

Worst oxtails I’ve ever had rip off literally 3 small pieces of oxtail with little meat a lot of fat and the plantains are super dry don’t waste your money on the oxtails smh I have to order some more food because I’m still hungry smh really am disappointed in the oxtail platter with plantains 👎🏾
