Shinobi Sushi has been our go‑to sushi spot since the day they opened four years ago, and they’ve only gotten better with time. Ken, the owner and sushi chef, is nothing short of exceptional. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what he does show in every single dish that comes across the counter. The sashimi here is very delicious, ultra‑fresh, clean, and consistently high quality. You can taste the difference immediately. Knowing that they fly in their fish fresh makes perfect sense once you’ve had even one bite. I’ve taken multiple friends who live in NYC, California, Washington DC, and Virginia who’ve said how surprised they were in the flavor and quality of the sushi. Let me start by saying how great the sushi is here! Not only does it taste wonderful, the prices are incredibly fair! Coming from Seattle, I can't believe how low these prices are! I don't know how they compare to the rest of SLC, but I think they're amazing. The sushi is fresh, delicious, and they have a wonderful staff! I stumbled across this gem, you should too!

First of all, it must be said, that Hallie is fantastic! She worked an entire restaurant front house by herself on Valentines Day and not one order was late! The delicious food arrived on time, hot and very finely presented. As for the food; the Philadelphia was tasty, but a little too much cream cheese for my taste. The Nabeyaki udon was delicious. The broth was light, yet flavorful. My egg was cooked perfectly. The shiny yellow of the yolk, soft and creamy, married well with mushrooms and udon noodles. Highly recommend the calamari too! Great job! Recommended. Say hi to Hallie!

So good! My husband and I got some sushi before a mammoth game and it was amazing! Super fast service and great food! Highly recommend!

We met the Owners, Ken and his Fiancé. They were awesome and and the Food was so damn good. I recommend the Ocean Troat. It is the Best! Thank you guys for making us feel welcome. Texas boys will be back soon.
