Customer Reviews
This place has a lot of home-style Korean dishes and everything tastes really good. I especially loved the ssambap. The set was nicely balanced and really made me want to keep eating. There were so many kinds of fresh veggies for wrapping, including ones I don’t usually get the chance to eat, which was a nice surprise. The barley rice was cooked just right — not too mushy or too hard. At first I thought the meat portion was a bit small, but after finishing the meat and mixing the rice with the soybean paste stew, then eating it with young radish kimchi and pickled radish, it turned out even better than the meat itself. I had it for lunch and came back again for dinner. That should tell you enough. If you’re craving that warm, homemade Korean meal, definitely check this place out. Pretty
Edit: It's been two years since my original review, and we still love it here. Very authentic & self-service! They have budae stew (army stew), noodles, soup etc too. I usually get the kalgooksoo (handmade noodles), but I got the Seoul leung tang soup for the first time today. An employee said that the owners (an older couple) boil their beef broth for 24 hours. Their kimchi is still good. They had yeoll mu kimchi too during my recent visit. -------- My family and I love this restaurant! It's across the street from H-mart, so it's not as well known, but the food is delicious. We especially like the hand-made noodles and dumplings that are made fresh. Our favorites are the clam and anchovy noodle soup. It's an affordable, simple self-service place, and their free kimchi and radish is so
I love their soup and noodles, everything tastes so good and the noodles were made fresh from the dough in the kitchen! Kimchi and chili sauce is good too.
Lady was so rude to the point I was scared that anything I would do would make her yell at us. She straight up YELLED at us. Wish I could give 0 stars but I can’t, so I guess I must give it 1 star. First, the lady was SO unbelievably rude. Me and my family went because the food pervious times were good. However, this time around, the food was bland, almost bitter?, and had the weirdest aftertaste EVER. I would give atleast 2 stars if the food was good, but not only was the food HORRIBLE, the service, the lady was SO SO SO RUDE it made me scared to even do anything cause of the fear of her yelling at us. Do not go here. Go to other Korean restaurants around here. There are SO much better and worth your money.
Food was ok, but the lady who took the order was very rude. I was looking for red pepper sauce for the soup but it was no where to be seen. I just grabbed a small salt container not knowing what to do and she asked me to put out that down because salt and pepper are already on the table. Then she handed me over the red sauce from the kitchen in very rude manner. Since this is self service restaurant, I grabbed the to-go-box myself but she took that away from me saying I not supposed to touch it. Very unpleasant experience. I won’t visit this place again.
