Shipley Do-Nuts

I absolutely LOVE coming here!!! I come here for breakfast with my boyfriend almost every weekend and come occasionally during the week before work and I love it. It’s out of the way from my job and I always make the drive because everything tastes amazing, the service is excellent and quick as well! Shipleys has been a childhood favorite of mine and I was so happy to find out that I lived near one. The employees always make my experience amazing and I’ll keep coming here because of that reason. Would recommend this place:)

As I was running errands and found myself almost driving past Shipley's Donuts, so I drove in. Since I didn't have any breakfast I thought I would get me some coffee and donuts. I was welcomed in by Ms. Laci, who was as sweet as the donuts and a really nice smile. She helped with my selections of donuts which I settled for an apple fritter and chocolate cream filled donut and cup of coffee. The coffee was brewed fresh and had a good taste, and the apple fritter and chocolate cream donut was very delicious. I'm usually not on this side of town so I couldn't pass the opportunity to stop on in. Please stop on by you won't regret it.

Shipley’s is great I’ve been going for years since I’m from the Houston area but this location, WHY DO YOU NOT AUTOMATICALLY GIVE NAPKINS???! You are serving food and beverages. Do you not want us to wipe our mouths? I’m speaking more from the drive thru not going inside cause I know there are napkins available for me to grab myself (even though again, yall can give out at handoff). Are yall trying to cut costs on napkins or what? I’ve been at this location many times but ALWAYS have to ask for napkins. If someone orders whatever, give us a napkin. Can we make that the new norm in the drive thru?

I thought my first interaction was just an off day for the mid 20 to 30 something brunette employee, who was rude, and also visibly disinterested, unhappy, and impatient with customers and other staff members. Months later, having popped in randomly on a few occasions, I am met with the same awful attitude from this same employee. Today, I have decided to send a review because of how consistently disappointing the customer service is specific to this employee who brings down the morale of the entire establishment. To the owner - please do not reply with your copy/pasted statement you use for everyone else. Hopefully you'll actually heed the reviews you receive. To everyone else - go somewhere else. Very clean and well laid out for a Shipleys. Food was fresh and tasty. I missed good Shirley's donuts and this hit the spot. Well done.
