I was truly disappointed tonight. I’ve been going to this location for over 10yrs. I have NEVER experienced food quality & taste this horribly. I went at 10pm. I know it’s late but first, there was absolutely no donuts. Very minimal selection. Like 5 varieties. It’s a 24hr business. At least have regular glazed. As I sat in my vehicle to enjoy them with my toddler, she asked for a donut & literally half the cake donuts I had purchased, were soo stale & hard. They were also dry. I was in shock on how hard. I thought maybe if in the microwave. But it was a little too much for my liking. I could taste they had been out all day. I went back in to let the guy know, & he said “ that’s the way cake donuts get.” That because it’s different dough it’s gets hard like that. He offered to get me new d

Shipley’s Donuts in McAllen has truly been the sweetest part of opening our new office next door. Every single visit has been such a great experience. The team is warm, friendly, and always welcoming. They greet us with genuine smiles, remember our orders, and make us feel like valued neighbors. The donuts are consistently fresh, soft, and delicious, and the coffee is always hot and ready to go. It is rare to find a place where the service matches the quality of the product, but this location delivers both every time. We are grateful to have them right beside us. If you are anywhere near this part of McAllen, make time to stop in. You will walk out happier than you walked in. 🍩🤍

Shipley's is the best, better than all the others, no one compares. We are fortunate that ours is 24/7, others like in Houston aren't. Make mine Shipley, the one and only.

Horrible customer service! Walked in to the store and was greeted in silence while the employee was on his phone. We asked a simple question and was yelled at. The employees demeanor was very clear that he did not want to be there, but that doesn’t give him the right to treat customers poorly. After reading the reviews I’m not the first customer to experience this kind of service. I guess this is the new customer service to expect when going to Shipley’s.

Hello we've been coming here since the 80's,this is a need to visit spot in McAllen that makes the city shine and kids smile when they go by.It has always been open regardless the weather ☁️,and you will always find a friendly smile behind the counter,I brought my kids here for donut 🍩 holes,and now my grandkids.Thank you Shipley's donuts for serving our city.Blessings from the 956 area.
