Shipley Do-Nuts

We are loyal regulars of the Donelson location, but not sure what is going on with this one! Truly a hit or miss experience when ordering online - either fresh and fluffy fritters, cinnamon rolls and donuts OR everything arrives burnt, dry and shriveled up. Literally it looks like the donuts are falling into themselves. They are either sending old, stale donuts or their bakers can't bake a consistent batch to save their lives, both cases are terrible for the customer! Pictures show a good fritter vs a bad fritter and my goodness, I can't believe they even have the courage to send out those massive, lopsided and overcooked disasters of a fritter. Won't be ordering from this location again.

Such a cool Shipley location!! Donuts and kolaches were 10/10 as always, the coffee here was amazing. Egg kolache with a cold brew every morning is my go-to!

Ordered 1 plain glazed, but got 2 Ordered a strawberry sprinkles, but got an additional cherry instead Ordered 2 cinnamon sugar, but only got one So basically paid for 2 that I didnt order and missing two that I ordered and paid for

Never again. This is down the street from my son's and we couldn't wait to try it. We love donuts. Got the dozen assorted and they were dry and cold. I only ate the cream filled one, assuming it would be like a light and fluffy whipped cream, and it was runny and tasted like cheap royal icing. My family attempted to eat the rest but were not impressed. We also ordered 2 kolaches and got the wrong ones. We ordered one hot coffee with cream and it was cold. Like, no warmth whatsoever. SO DISAPPOINTING! UGH!

Thr cinnamon rolls here are the best but tey to get them fresh (hot). I first visited in Houston, TX. Wish we had one up here in Kentucky.
