Shipley Do-Nuts

Went today on valentines morning. I understand it’s a bit busier than usual but no more than a typical Saturday I imagine. I go inside, the cashier doesn’t seem like he wants to be there. I walk up and ask for 1/2 dozen glaze to use a coupon. I ask if they have heart donuts, he says he doesn’t know. So I settle for sprinkles in valentines color. He doesn’t know how to operate the register, so he calls over the manager and I pay as he packs the donuts. I ask the manager about the heart donuts as I finish paying, he tells me they should be out any minute. At this point it’s too late as I’ve paid. Then I get home to give my daughter her donuts for valentine day and they’re just thrown in the box. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

Not sure what happened to this location but the donuts are terrible. Looks like a 5 year old glazed these donuts. He must have grabbed all the ugly ones. Had to throw away 3 of them, so doughy and undercooked. No shine on the glaze just clumps of sugar. He actually gave me a messed up chocolate one too. Such a shame, all the other locations never sold ugly donuts. Won’t be buying here again.

Donuts wasn’t fresh and served with mold I called and they said it was oil from frying This completely unacceptable and a serious health concern . I’ve never seen any donuts with black spots 🤮 truly disgusted 🤢 I want my refund immediately 🚮 FDA should be contacted and if it is oil from frying no donuts should be presented like this it doesn’t even look appealing to eat

Terrible experience at Shipley on this Sunday . First of all you can't get inside lobby it's closed. So we couldn't use restroom and wash hands from long drive. Second we ordered 2 sausage cheese kolaches and she gave it us ham and cheese and it was cheapest Bars lunch meat and it was only one little piece. Charged me for do-Nut $1.66!!! It's ripoff! And I think they closed lobby because they scared people will complain about quality of kolaches and probably owner so cheap he don't want spend money on toilet paper and soap and paper towels. I told them I need to use restroom after we spent $16 they didn't open door on Sunday 12pm !!!!

Supposedly it’s an hour wait for hot donuts at 645 am…. Daily occurrence…. After watching this one load donuts eat in the prep area and wipe his face I had enough…. No gloves no hand washing in this place
