Shippy's

I’ve never been greeted by such a rude hostess before in my life. My partner and I got seated and I had asked about the happy hour as it was stated on the website it was from 3-6, and she just no and offered no explanation and walked away. She then took out drink orders, my partner said she wanted a Diet Coke and before I even said anything she just walked away like I didn’t even exist. Her whole attitude just seems incredibly unwelcoming and left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. The food was alright, but it was nothing special. The schnitzel was very bland, and the fish sandwich was very doughy and kind of dry. The salad and the potato pancakes were pretty good though. Overall, due to the awful service and overall mediocre food, I would not recommend anyone to come here if they expect

Shippy's always delivers a great experience, with amazing food and service. I started my meal with a Black & Tan and went for the pre-fixe menu. I chose the German Fried Mushrooms, Shippy's Sauerbraten, and the Homemade German Chocolate Brownie A La Mode. I finished the night with a Guinness. Bella was an amazing waitress! Even though she mentioned she was new to Shippy's, her menu knowledge and kind attitude were really impressive, especially with my allergy request. Overall, the whole dining experience was superb, just what I expect from Shippy's.

Picked up the oat bowl that I called to order - did not come with any seasonal fruit or the maple syrup listed on the description. The fresh fruit was the reason I ordered this item. Servers were nice and it was nice inside, but the food wasn't as it should be.

A charming little restaurant with a warm atmosphere and delicious, thoughtfully prepared food. The cozy setting and attentive service. Perfect for a relaxed meal you’ll want to come back for! Smash burgers were very tasty. A variety and big portions for kids, Mac&cheese was also nice.
