Shiso

My experience at Shiso was great!! The cornbread was amazing. My drink was recommended by my waiter, (can't recall the name) but had a strawberry cold foam and hint of coffee..unique but very good. I had salmon belly sushi as an appetizer and sea bass with side of rice as my main. My waiter was super accommodating with leaving the sauce off and fish was still super flavorful. Will be back in the future! SN: music was great!!

Really cute spot in wynwood with a good vibe and excellent attentive service which is hard to find in Miami. We got an assortment of appetizers and entrées, and they were all delicious. My favorite was the duck dumpling appetizer and the pork belly entrée. The octopus was also very good. I had one of my favorite desserts I’ve ever had, the baked Alaskan with a cornbread cake. All of the cocktails were unique and made well. Would definitely go back!

I sat at the bar at Shisho and had such a great experience. The bartender was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe was on point. The decor is swanky, the lighting is moody, and the music? Definitely a vibe. It just felt cool in there. Food-wise, the slice hamachi was the star of the night for me, 10/10. The freshness, the texture, the flavor balance… everything just worked. It was easily my favorite dish. The salmon belly maki also surprised me in the best way. I don’t think I’ve had salmon belly before, and paired with the truffle oil, it was rich, flavorful, and honestly another 10/10. That roll exceeded my expectations. Overall a really nice experience I would definitely come back but one star off for a few of the menu items being… disappointing. What we ordered: Sliced Hamachi 8/10 (pictured) loved the freshness of the fish and the little salad on top added a delicious texture to the dish Seabass Crudo 6/10 (pictured) too.. wet? Fresh fish too and great flavours but hard to eat and I felt like it needed something like green onions or some sort of micro greens Blue fin tuna maki 7/10 it was fine nothing special Salmon belly maki 9/10 great flavour favourite sushi dish King crab gunkan 2/10 this was what I was most excited for it just was sooo bad. The crab was way too mayod and it tasted like cold crab salad. Has huge potential to be delicious I would swap out the sauce Smoked Brisket Croquette 8/1

Shiso Miami completely exceeded expectations !! This place is such a vibe and instantly makes you want to come back ASAP. Like i need to go back for happy hour asap! From the moment we walked in, the energy, the creativity, and the attention to detail stood out. Our server Justin was AWESOME - super knowledgeable, genuinely passionate about the menu, and made the whole experience feel elevated. The drink menu is so cool and creative, and every recommendation he gave was on point.
