Shortstops Burgers, Shakes & Fries

Shortstops Burgers is my go-to when I need lunch in North Albany. Their food is reliable and delicious! The location is perfect for getting a quick stop and getting right back on the road. My truck/ trailer doesn’t fit through the drive-thru but they accommodate by ringing the bell on the back door and waiting on the nearby bench. They also have great shakes and strawberry sundaes!

Came to Albany for a dentist appointment and needed a bite to eat to kill some time. Boy did I make the right choice by driving over to Shortstops! This place tasted like nostalgia heaven to me, as they are the closest a local smash burger joint has ever come to replicating my favorite childhood spot of yore(RIP Bosco's in Hillsboro, you were legendary). The burgers are juicy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of condiments and veggies. The tots were generously portioned, hot, fresh and well seasoned. The fry sauce here is a standout, a cut above its peers with a unique flavor all its own. The cake batter shake is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had, and as it is one of my most beloved treats, I know my shakes. Creamy, dreamy, not overly sweet, this frozen delight is a winner. I

Good burger and tots! This is our go to for getting a quick quality lunch when working outside in North Albany; their drive-up windows really handy! Very reliable, good quality, and good price.

Ordered two chicken slider combo. Not impressed with the preformed chicken patties and the fact that I ordered a combo but didn't get any fries. I didn't get charged for fries either so not as critical. Their intercom has a lot to be desired. I couldn't understand her and she couldn't understand me. The entire human contact was about 10 secs. They have an opaque drive thru window so you can't see inside. Here's your food here's your change, bye! I did enjoy the boba sized straws so that I wasn't sucking my face into my cup. I don't think chicken is their forte so I'll be going back to sample their burger and I'll make sure they understand my order. Edit: I did go back to try their burger and tots. The burger was substantial size and tasty. For an additional charge, I opted for the bacon

Love these guys! Love their food! We came for the flavor burst cones, and decided to start with lunch. We love the burgers, fries are good, but hands down, those tater tots are perfection every time. They have fry sauce as well as ketchup. We’ve also tried the shakes. So yummy. We make special trips here regularly 🚙💨
