Shorty's BBQ Davie

My wife and I stopped in on Wednesday night for dinner. The service here was awesome. We ordered alot of food because it was our first time here. The dinner crowd was definitely a older bunch ( mostly around 60). The brisket was overcooked and not tender at all it came with grilled chicken that we upgraded to all white meat for a dollar it was tasty. We also ordered a cheeseburger, sausage, and corn. We finished it off with the only in house dessert they offered which was key lime pie. Overall it was nice experience.

I’ve been to Shorty’s BBQ in Davie several times, and overall it’s a solid spot. The food is consistent, and the corn on the cob is really good — definitely one of my favorite sides there. The place has a casual, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to stop by for a relaxed meal. It’s a good option when you’re craving BBQ and want something familiar and satisfying. 🌽

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Shorty‘s in Davie for ribs. And eating there the other day reminded me that I need to go back more. The half rack of ribs was right off the bone delicious. Juicy, tender, and oh that barbecue sauce yummy. It makes me feel like I’m in Texas with the interior decor. fun place to go and eat.

Went to Shorty’s for a late night bbq craving and dudeeeee this was 10/10. Got the mozzarella (cause I’m a kid at heart, and the cheese pull hit the spot) along with the burnt ends for apps and almost stuffed ourselves with the burnt ends and didn’t eat the actual mains. For the mains, got the brisket platter and the half order of the baby back ribs - ribs were fall off the bone and the brisket was moist, both were smokey and so flavorful. Service was excellent!! Hostess Princess was so bubbly (def could be a server in the future) and was waited on by Nadia who was incredibly kind and gave great menu recommendations - Both were wonderful to be around!

Really great BBQ place with a lot of variety from ribs to brisket and sandwiches. Service was good and friendly. We ordered the platter which is huge! It had basically all the meats from ribs, sausage, brisket, chicken and side dishes of coleslaw, beans, and garlic Bread. The food was very good and large portion sizes, enough to share. You absolutely must have the Butter corn ! I would definitely recommend you check this place out if you enjoy Bbq.
