SHOSHIN 68

I snagged a last minute Friday night reservation, and the omakase was beyond my expectations! I ordered 16-course while my friend ordered 12, and both courses were absolutely stunning (and completely worth the price). The chef was super fast at making the rolls (faster than I could eat them!) and every bite was exquisite. The green tea was very clean and the perfect refresher between each flavor. Everyone working at the restaurant was incredibly friendly and wonderful to talk to as well. I highly highly recommend eating omakase here

Such a thoughtful experience at SHOSHIN 68! Even though winter is ending, they warmly offered both hot tea and ice water, which was a nice touch. Every dish came with a detailed explanation of the origin and variety of ingredients. The chawanmushi was absolutely perfect—incredibly smooth and silky. Highly recommend!

I knew from the moment i walked through the door that i would be back again. not only was the food was one of the most amazing experiences i had but chef yee was the one who made it special. he walked us through all the food every piece was made was with precision. and then it became personal, rarely i see korean fluke in omakase and i got to have it (twice) and feel the nostalgia of my grandmother back in korea would feed me. beyond the fluke, every fish brought out was curated with thought. bring your partner, your friends, or even by yourself. you will not be disappointed. i will be back again!!

Thanks to Google Maps, I wandered into Shoshin 68 after nabbing a last minute booking for 5 pm. I was lucky enough to get a spot at the counter right in front of Chef Yee! Little did I know this spot was in the middle of a photo shoot and frequented by an array of clientele including a film composer and producer who walked in all non descript and sat right next to me. We independently went with the 16 course omakase, which was a journey of delicious and savory morsels and flavors. My favorite omakase in NYC, the menu is curated to perfection, the vibe is amazing. Chef Yee is a true professional and expert. Also this location is phenomenal perfect for celebrating with friends before a night out or any special occasion!!!! Thank you to the wonderful team at Shoshin!!!
