Shovel Pizza

Food was not good. For $20 a pizza I would rather order Dominos or Papa John’s. This is not your typical pizzeria style pizza. The pizzas were cooked on screens, had way too much cheese, and all I tasted when I bit into it was margarine. They only serve red sauce and mozzarella cheese? The staff was nice, and the atmosphere was trying to be like that of a mellow mushroom. For a restaurant that has pizza in the name, it feels like they could do a better job.

Best wings and fries I've ever had! I got the 8 piece wings. 4 in buffalo sauce and 4 in Nashville hot. The fries were so fat and crunchy. I definitely recommend coming to Shovel Pizza if you're looking for some good wings. I also snatched up a couple of their homemade oreos. This was my first time here but will def be coming back.

Shovel Pizza knows how to do it right! If you're craving a pizza with the perfect crisp bite—no soggy crust, no floppy slices—this is the place. Every slice was loaded with toppings and they did not skimp on the cheese (thank you!). The flavor was spot on, the crust had that satisfying crunch, and every bite was balanced and bold. You can tell they take pride in their pizza. Highly recommend if you want quality, consistency, and a slice that actually holds up!

Speedy service, excellent food, great atmosphere. Fun little games on the tables to pass the time as you wait for the freshly made to order pizzas. I've had the BBQ chicken, Hawaiian, the works on gluten free, and tried the organic sodas. I've yet to be disappointed with anything they serve me. Owner has even responded to reviews and added a second oven to keep up with demand. Definitely our pizza place from here on out. They sell wings too, but we haven't tried those yet :)
