Shreve Memorial Library - West Shreveport Branch

This is a great little library ! I remember when it was up by McDonald's, but this location is so much closer for me ! It's easy to find - just right there on Pines Rd just a bit past Panda Express ! The building itself and the parking lot are individually from the outside. The lot is huge, easy parking, and clean. The building is big and nice ! Inside is just as wonderful. When you enter the foyer, you'll see info for upcoming events and whatever else. The main part is very nice and relaxing. There is a big ol section for the kids, there's DVDs, CDs, computers, and of course books - and more ! Don't worry if you don't know where to find what you're looking for - there is always a friendly staff available to help ! I only go a few times a year now, but I've never had an bad exper

I was in the area taking care of business when I needed to reprint some paperwork. My cousin suggested visiting the local library. The staff is cordial and welcoming. My cousin didn't have her library card so they looked it up and issued her a new card. We needed the card to use the one of many computer stations. There's a tiny fee for internet usage and printing documents. The convenience far outweighs the cost.

I patronize this library branch every week since canceling my account with the local provider . The employees here are very helpful , professional , knowledgeable , pleasantly friendly , and glad to assist patrons . One of the library employees here was in my classes from elementary school through high school . He is always ready to help all visitors to the library and if he doesn't know the answer to a question , he will look it up online and have an answer almost immediately . All his coworkers are very helpful and able to assist in any matter related to the library .

Great place to learn. Books, CD’S, DVD’S and computers are at your disposal. The staff is outstanding helping you find something or order something in reserve for you. Atmosphere is great, with air conditioning, drinks and snacks. The library is one of the best opportunities to promote your education.

I love to visit this branch. There's always someone that will offer help if you needs it. Especially Mrs Peggy. She's the Best!! I learn something from her each time I visit this branch.
