Shrimp House

Not fancy but nice warm atmosphere. A varied menu, easy to find something to eat, even if you're vegetarian but maybe not vegan. A bonus was we had dinner on December 31st and when looking out the window during dinner we saw 12 to 15 Rose parade floats going by over the next 20 minutes with a police escort for the next morning. Fun!

This place is sooo cute! my family has lived here for 40 years and after many times driving by, today my mom and i tried it for the first time. the atmosphere is 10/10, so on theme and you can tell they put effort into decorating and detailing! the service was delightful, very polite staff and our food came quickly. it was quite lively, and the food was absolutely delicious! they have a wide variety of different foods and also many dessert options. i recommend the coconut shrimp and baked potato side. next time we hope to try more! please give shrimp house a try, it’s a hidden gem!

I remember when they were in El Monte, and now this is my first visit to this location. The service and food are delicious! The clam chowder is exceptional! There's plenty of seating and parking.

For overall family review kids do not like sea food. It's not gourmet but very feasible sea food. Not to many places like this. Food is reasonably priced. All if not most plates are below 20$. Clam chowder and shrimp salad were delicious. Atmosphere is nice inside. Parking is now very bright compared to before. (Thank you).

I am really glad to have tried this place. I would have never known about it if my friend had suggested we try it out. They have quite a few options on their lunch menu and regular menu. The calamari definitely was the favorite, but I also enjoyed the fried zucchini. The Boston clam chowder was good, but I want to try their red chowder next time out of curiosity. Both the fried and grilled seafood were cooked and seasoned well.
