Seinfeld soup kitchen. That’s what I felt like at first. Go to the counter and order. They may ask you from the back what you want before you get to the counter. We still were not rushed to place an order, they told us to take our time since it was our first time. There was a fireplace burning, classic booths and older tables to feel like grandmas house. Fast service and AMAZING food. A small selection makes for better quality. We ordered the Reuben, Club, postage salad and a side of pimento cheese. Everything was amazing. Plenty of sandwich on both. I almost dislocated my jaw trying to bite into the club. The postage had a slight sweet flavor, delicious and not dry like some. I highly recommend. We will go back over and over. Thank you for good food.

The best spot for lunch in Macon. Great food and a great price with friendly staff, fireplace, and historic vibe. This place was The Varsity long ago.

Rediscovered this sandwich shop. Downtown for my wife's Dr visit and wanted a salad. Visited this spot and enjoyed a great salad in front of a fireplace. Excellent.

This was my first time coming to this place. The cashier that took my order was great. This is a mom and pop place, it stood out with food, customer service and amount of food. I would go back again.

Place has been around for 40 years. Very simple, fresh ingredients, fresh bread, very small town atmosphere, very clean, plenty of parking and handicap accessible. I come here 2 to 3 times a month…. you get your sandwich just the way you order, a great place.
