Siestas Cantina

I was recently there on vacation with my last leg being on a cruise but coming back to write that the Bacon Onion Jam Burger was surprisingly one of the best meals I had all trip! I thought it was just gonna be another pool side burger but it was awesome, burger meat was juicy, bacon onion jam was sweet but savory, jalapeño garlic aioli added balance and flavor, tomato and lettuce added freshness, and the Hawaiian pretzel bun was a perfect carrier. We wanted to try other spots on the property but regretted not going back to get another of this tasty burger. 🥲 Everything else was just average pool shack food.

This is the pool bar at the Dig Site in Coronado Springs. This has a laid-back vibe where you can get food and drinks during your pool visit. The service took longer than expected to get our food ready, but it’s mainly due to low demand. The food itself ranges from decent to actually good. The kids quesadilla is basic, but still works as a meal. I enjoy the new fries they have, though. The flaming hot Mac and Cheese bites tasted weird, but the sauces on top enhanced the flavor exponentially. Overall, not the best food on property, but still works for a good meal.

Food and drinks were very good. Frozen drinks were pre-made but still tasted pretty good. The food was unique and tasty, the walking nachos with Doritos nacho cheese were a hit with my 8 year old and my 5 year old loved the personal pizzas.

Great Pina colada, average food. Value for what you pay is low. Ambiance is lacking. Dining areas were clean. Wouldn't travel to hang out here but fine for those staying on property.

Meh. Food service was quick. Bartender took his time chatting with patrons before acknowledging me. Fries were good but nothing special. Shrimp tacos were fine but I wouldn't order again. Plenty of tables with shade umbrellas.
