Silva Bakery: Portuguese Baked Goods & Artisan Breads

A very small, traditional bakery. Very limited options. The Portuguese Egg Tart is okay, the fillings are creamy and flavourful, but the crust is not crispy at all. It's $14 for just 5 tarts, definitely over priced.

If you like Macau & HK style, don't get from here. The pasteis de nata tart taste like cheap overnight pudding. The outer crust is too soft, zero crunch. I can only give it a 3 out of 10 rating. Don't know what the rave is about, but I won't be back.

Finally visited this heaven smelling little bakery! Wow, they have a delicous section of Portuguese baked goods, sausages, cheeses, and more! We have a Poruguese grandmother in our family that makes these cookies, but she lives far. Found them here, and their so yummy!

For 14$ for 4, I can bake them myself. This is what you call Highway Robbery. Does Paris Baguette charge the same for egg custards?

EXCEPTIONAL food and service! My mother is from Portugal and recently discovered Silva Bakery when we were visiting from out of state. The owner is friendly and very kind. The selection of food is fantastic! The cheese is incredible! The sweet bread is even better than my grandma made! We will be visiting every time we are in the area and placing orders through out the year.
