Silver and Sons BBQ

Good Folks I ran into a no pork barbecue spot on my timeline. I love beef ribs, so i decided to check them out!! Let me tell you, I’m sooo glad that I pulled up!! This quaint spot is a must have…LET’S GO!! . Where I am: @silverandaonsbbq . Location Reviewed: 5362 Westbard Ave, Bethesda M.D. . Items Reviewed: STAMP!! Their Beef Ribs ($32 with half a rack of beef ribs, a challah roll, pickles, & a spiced vinegar bbq sauce). Well seasoned, meaty, tender, & a tasty bbq sauce!! STAMP!! Their 2 for 2 Platter ($25 with a 1/4 Freebird Farms smoked chicken, pickles, bbq sauce, shredded lamb shoulder, mac n cheese, challah bread, & lemon schmaltz potatoes). A very good chicken sandwich with generous portions of meat. The sweet bbq sauce is the best in my opinion and would make the return trip from Arlington more than worthwhile. It’s hard to find a good sauce in this area, but this place gets it right! Highly recommend!

Great Turkey sandwich platter! Lots of moist thickly sliced turkey and a choice of BBQ sauce. I tried mustard sauce with curry overtones and loved it! When paired with the lemon Schwartz potatoes, baklava and lemonade it was a delightful meal. We were looking for a quick lunch spot near Sibley Hospital and Silver & Sons BBQ hit the spot! Not much seating inside but several tables outside. We will return!

What can I say.. I’m hooked. Good flavor and a culinary experience.. I have had the brisket and lamb dishes! And always with the jalapeño cornbread.. recent lamb shawarma is my breakfasts today. Hidden gem and would recommend to anyone looking for just good food and they even added in baklava complementary my last visit.. will be trying the chicken next

Fantastic reuben! I’d heard it was good and had to check it out for myself. It was a bit of a drive for me (~35 minutes) but worth it. I arrived and there’s plenty of free parking right near the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The one criticism would be space to eat. It’s clean but you will sit at a counter with limited room, but that’s livable. We also tried the chickpea slaw (good but watery) and the lemon schmaltz potatoes (flavorful), enjoying them both. Finally, capped the order off with smoked walnut baklava. OMG! Amazing. Not too sweet and oh so good.
