Overall Impression Silver Diner is a relatively new location, conveniently situated near Route 50 and close to my home. I had been meaning to visit for some time and finally stopped in for breakfast. The restaurant was nearly empty upon arrival. Highlights & Observations Service: Unfortunately, service was quite slow. It took an extended amount of time to take our order, despite the low volume of guests. Breakfast Dishes: The food was underwhelming. The dishes lacked proper seasoning and overall depth of flavor. I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Silver Diner. I ordered the Flat Iron Steak and specifically requested no onion straws because the menu states that removing them makes the dish gluten free. I made it very clear this was due to an allergy. Our server, Srishti, acknowledged and said okay. When the food arrived, the steak still had onion straws on it. She asked who it was for at the table, and I reminded her mine was without onion straws. She took it back and returned shortly after with what appeared to be the same steak, just without the onion straws on top. After I started eating, I found onion straws in the dish that had clearly just been brushed off. For someone with an allergy, that is not acceptable. Silver Diner is a wonderful spot! The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, with plenty of options to choose from. What makes it stand out even more is the wide variety of halal and vegetarian dishes available something that’s not always easy to find at diners. It’s a great place whether you’re grabbing a casual meal or dining with family and friends who have different dietary preferences. Definitely recommend!

We ended up at the Silver Diner after a long day of activities during Christmas holidays. Imagine, I got so busy enjoying my dinner that I actually forgot to click pictures of it! Haha. Maybe next time. We ordered a ceasers salad, lemon chicken (the farro was beyond delicious), tomato bisque (obviously a winter fav!) And the kids enjoyed pasta.

Silver Diner provided a different twist to brunch but the food was very good. The restaurant and its restrooms were clean and modern with a retro dinner decor. The staff was very friendly, patient and helpful. There was plenty of parking even during the busy time of the day. I definitely look forward to trying more of the menu.
