Silver Diner

Late late night stop to the Silver Diner. Service was on point as our server was very attentive all night. Food came out promptly and was hot and very good. Manager made his rounds too. The crabcake melt was actually very good so that too was a plus.

My first time dined at this restaurant and I am very pleased with the experience. The night manager and the waiter were every very nice and informative. My food was excellent and the steak was perfectly cooked. I normally don't get dessert but since I enjoyed my main course, I had to get me a slice of pecan pie and it was not disappointed either. I highly recommend this place. I am just a guy who loves food.

Zoom in to see roach in the middle of the Cobb salad I ordered. When I called manager, he was quick to shift blame to uber eats. Now- how likely do YOU think it is that this roach crawled from the uber drivers car into the bag into the salad container?? Right… I had to tell him to investigate the dish i ordered. I have been a near life long silver diner fan as a local and was excited to have one in dc but never again. Disgusting and with this type of mgmt/customer service - you can guarantee it will only get worse from here

This location is by far the best option! The chef did something no other silver dinner has ever done. They took off the tail and butterfly my friend shrimp. It took the experience to the next level. Thank you for for those small details that makes a huge difference. I also forgot to mention that it came with a side salad, no other diner has ever had that option.

Had a great experience at Silver Social Club (I think it was the upstairs portion of the restaurant) for brunch when I was staying in the area. All of the food was super tasty. Portion sizes are a little smaller than what you get downstairs but didn’t bother me at all. Who knew putting pomegranate on avocado toast would be such a great, flavorful, and crunchy touch. The mocktail mule was great and you have absolutely got to have the hash brown latke rounds. Those are incredible! I believe they have bottomless mimosa as well, can’t go wrong here! Lastly, great views of the park especially when seated outside on the balcony. Visited March 2025.
