If you love good BBQ, do not go here. Nice vibe and kind service, but awful food. Unfortunately, the food tastes like my younger brother with minimal culinary skills made it. Brisket & Ribs have a texture that mirrors that of jerky and tastes like it’s only seasoning was salt and flour. I fear the restaurant is aware of the poor quality because it was quite cheap.

This local spot has a friendly vibe and seems popular with regulars. When you walk in, you’re greeted and order cafeteria-style, which is nice since you can see all the barbecue meats on display. The line service was friendly, and there’s plenty of seating. Now, for the food— the brisket had a commercial smoke taste, though it did have a nice peppery bark. The standout was the pork ribs; they were perfectly tender, falling off the bone, with a great smoke flavor. The sausage seemed either homemade or custom-prepared for the restaurant, which was a nice touch. The southern-style green beans were good, and the mashed sweet potatoes added something different, though I usually prefer them chunkier. Silverado Smokehouse in Corpus Christi is a BBQ haven! Their beef ribs, pork ribs, and marbly brisket are pure perfection—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. Visiting from Houston, I make it a point to stop here every time, and it never disappoints. During lunch, the owner’s warm hospitality shone through with complimentary cookies, adding a sweet touch to an already stellar meal. Five stars, hands down!

As we all know GOOD Beff ribs are very hard to find ! Well I’ve found them ! And they are large and in charge here ! And supper tender but still enough to give you the hand to mouth experience! Service is genuine and local ! Brisket is fresh and moist! Enjoy this place !

Best BBQ in Corpus Christi! Brisket is always flavorful and tender and the meat practically falls off the bone! Even the sides are always spot on...my wife regularly gets tge veggie plate because they are so good! The ice cream machine gives a perfect cap to the meal. The staff here are wonderful as well..very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!
