Simply 2 Delightful Carryout

First time trying Simply 2 Delightful and I ordered the Ultimate Crab Fries — easily the best crab fries I’ve had in the DMV. The fries were NOT soggy at all, which is rare when you load fries with seafood and sauce. They were perfectly seasoned with Old Bay, still crispy, and came out steaming hot. You could tell everything was made fresh. They don’t play with the portions either — lump crab, seared salmon, fried shrimp, parmesan, and their Bumpin’ sauce. It easily feeds 3 people. Customer service was great and the inside was clean and organized. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish. If you’re serious about crab fries, this is worth the trip to Waldorf. Definitely coming back.

Extremely Long wait time. Confusion in the storefront (specifically line access and placing your order upon arrival) took far too long to place an order in person. No one was answering the phone lines today due to being “too busy” and online ordering was also shut down. All of the Food was bland. The 10 pc Old bay Wings were not seasoned fully. 3 pc Whiting meal was terrible and inedible. As soon as I opened the box it smelled overwhelmingly fishy. The breading was not flaky or crunch or crisp, and the seasoning was non existent. I Didn’t finish eating it for fear of getting sick. The Macaroni is clearly store bought/frozen and the collard greens taste canned. The mixed Drink was overly sweet and underwhelming. I had to wait 30+ minutes to receive just two menu items when the restaurant was empty! Trying to give them grace because "atleast the food will be hot and fresh when I get it" - nope. I ordered crab fries and the fries are soggy but they were just made??? not a single one was even close to being crispy. The sauce is too sweet and does not go well with the dish at all. Barely gave any crab on top either. Wings had almost NO sauce on them. Terrible. No one even apologized for the delay and that’s what really inclined me to leave this review. Never going back and would NOT recommend, if you’re contemplating this place don’t waste your money like I did- just go to Legacy's! At least they're reliable.

Overall the food was horrible. The mac and cheese is completely dry and doesn’t taste like anything. The collard greens are sweet 🤮 . The seafood salad is the most disappointing thing ever it is a sour vinegar taste without any seafood. The turkey wings were seasoned and very good. I paid over $40 this place is not cheap. I called to request a refund for the $20 seafood-less salad and I’m waiting… UPDATE- I was refunded my $40 for the entire meal

Sweet, sweet…good for drink. STAMP!! Their Spinach Crab Dip ($14.99 a cheesy crab dip with tortilla chips). Well seasoned, plenty of crab meat, & cheesy!! LIKE THAT! Their Chicken Cheesesteak Combo ($15.99 with American, & provolone cheeses, onions, peppers, mayo, a drink, & fries). Thick, plenty of chicken, nicely seasoned, & good!! STAMP!!
