We visited Sister Soul Food Restaurant on Paramore and had one of the best home-style meals we’ve had in a long time! We ordered the smothered pork chop meal with cabbage, black-eyed peas, cornbread, potato salad, sweet potato buttermilk pie, and Oreo cheesecake—and everything was outstanding. The food was packed with flavor—you could taste the love and soul in every bite. The black-eyed peas were loaded with meat, and the cabbage had just the right amount of seasoning and plenty of meat as well. The desserts were the perfect finishing touch—rich, sweet, and homemade perfection. What impressed us even more was the hospitality. Everyone was pleasant and professional. When it started raining as we were leaving, a gentleman, who I believe was one of the owners, personally walked guests out

Three stars reflect my mixed experience. DoorDash lacked fish description and choices. Mac and cheese and yams impressed, but fish was overcooked, rice burnt. Calls went unanswered. High expectations from coworkers' reviews led to disappointment.

If you are looking for TRUE, homecooked soul food...look no further than this place!! Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection and yes I've tried every menu item. One of the only places in Orlando that gives you your moneys worth when it comes to portions. See you next Sunday!!

Sistaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. You been on my minddddd.....Yes. Yes. Yes. BEST CHOICE I MADE TODAY!!!! It's raining right now so I go on DoorDash and search something new. Found this restaurant I never had before. They showed up and handed me this heavy Togo plate and it smelled so good. I knew I had found me winner. Opened it up my eyes tears with Southern Joy. I tell you I am so excited about this plate and will definitely be ordering again. The fact that you put utensils in the bag too was true show class. So many places be too cheap to do that. Now how I'm gone eat my smothered pork chops, Mac n cheese, rice, green beans, cornbreaT, and Nana puddin with no tensils. Idk. But I'm grateful you put them in there. Tasty soul food with really good portions. The dinner platters come with a main entree, rice, 2 sides, and cornbread. I eat a lot, and 2 dinner platters are enough for 3 heaping servings. My favorite platter that I've tried so far is the smothered chicken wings with Mac n cheese, potato salad, yellow rice with gravy.
