Sisters Movie House & Café

For we Central Oregonians who do not live in Bend, we realize there are many amazing movie venues available that avoid the traffic, parking and pricing of Bend's Old Mill theater. We enjoy The Pine Theater in Prineville, the Redmond Cinemas, the Madras Cinema 5 and the Sisters Movie House & Cafe. We watched Song Sung Blue in Sisters. What a fine place to watch a movie. Things to be aware of, if buying tickets on line, you cannot reserve a seat. Also, even though you will receive two emails after the purchase, you do not need to show your phone, they simply ask your name at the concession counter. My wife went into the theater to lock down two seats while I waited in line to show my phone's tickets. Did not need to. I bought popcorn and two waters, reasonable pricing. Went into the

Great place for a movie, food, drinks and specialty coffee.The best part of the personalized service and that it is family owned. Get to the show early, because the owner personally greets you before the show and gives a background on the actors, directors and all sorts of movie trivia. I'm a movie buff and have never experienced this anywhere else!

Been to several movies here since the new owners took over. We were told to sit down by the owner, several times, running into a friend. Mind you, it was 15 mins before the movie started. I did not like the pushy feeling from her so I left. My wife happened to get a voucher for the "vip" seats to see the movie at a later time. I was talked into going back. When we went the second time after the first was a terrible experience the same owner came up to make sure we had vip seats. This place is way too controlling, and the owner is just rude. Will never go back. We live in sisters, so this is such an inconvenience to take a date night option away.

That's a great quaint place to go. Watch a movie and their food is actually pretty good as well.I love this place. And it was so much fun to watch.The twenty fifth anniversary of the Grinch that stole christmas on a big screen.

Wonderful staff and the local owners are so nice! The small town atmosphere is such a treat. The screens are great & the sound systems are excellent. They don’t play the movies too loud either so you won’t lose your hearing coming here. That’s a huge plus!
