Skippers Seafood 'n Chowder

First time visiting. I was a little unsure on trying skippers after looking over the reviews, but it wasn't bad. The place looked clean, soda machine looked clean. My husband & i got the fish & chips and it was really good. The fries were good as well.

It's interesting ordering a Salmon Caesar salad and having to point to where it's at on the menu or them needing to switch cashiers because "I don't speak Spanish". The young guy was eating his food stood up licked his fingers than went back to toughing the cooking equipment. 🤢Got home opened the food and was nothing to what I ordered.

Ordered scallops and clams strips with fries and there was barley any in the order. Called and she said I had to drive back to to get my refund because they can't do refunds over the phone as she argued "there wasnt supposed to be fish in your order of fish!" I was being really polite and she kept yelling at me and saying I didnt order fish..even though I ordered..fish...then got mad at me and said " well you got your clam chowder so you got your fish! That's your fish."

Cashier @/around 5pm on Monday 9/29, she gave us exceptional service A+ Hadn't been to skippers in years. Wanted to try the newly remodeled kenn ave location. Food was fine, but service was better! She met my TV accommodations, not once but 3 different times. All with a smile.. made my experience dining their wonderful

Food was blah. The fish really didn’t have any flavor and the chowder had sand in it. What really made it disgusting, is the soda machine had mold all over it. I went to get some Squirt and a blob of mold came out. We told them however they only cleaned the outside and didn’t take the spouts off to clean them. I’ll never go back.
