Skrimp Shack

This place definitely went downhill over the past few years since it opened. Employees very unwelcoming, couldn’t tell you if any of them had teeth because not one smile the whole time we were there. Kitchen staff seemed very annoyed every time customers walked in, you could almost taste the discontent in the food. Was definitely disappointed in the portions too. Overall not a good visit, doubt I’ll come back.

I happened to have randomly come across Skrimp Shack, and I was immediately drawn to their skrimp and crab po boy, which I find unique because I don’t know of any other restaurants that serve po boys with shrimp/crab combo. It did not disappoint, and the spicy sauce made it even more delicious. Generous amount too! I look forward to coming back and trying out their other menu items!

I enjoyed my food. Recieved a large portion an everything was tasty. An was throughly impressed with the the patients an knowledge of the menu by throughly cashier. She was calm an informative..even when I myself was irritated by the people ordering that where taking so long to decide. I mean the cashier didn't seem bothered by the customer smacking and popping gum in her face while ordering. Then only issue was the cleanliness. I noticed the Tea bucket definitely needed washing so I opted for fruit punch out of the machine .and there was batter and such sliding down the area behind the counter

The food was delicious. We ordered the family tray OMG. This is my first time teaching them macaroni and cheese. Don’t let the food it was delicious. The shrimp was good. The fish was delicious the french fries everything was good and we are family of seven and it fed us and we still have more left over The Royal family would like to say thank you for catering to our family.

The girl taking our order looked like we were bothering her. She took my order then dropped the popcorn shrimp the went back to taking orders. Wish I saw her wash her hands but I didn't. The food looked good but the bread fell apart on the first bite. Poboys should hold firm and not slip apart as if the bread is a week old. It did not satisfy that urge I had for a poboy. The fries were OK but grease needed to be changed days ago. Overall it was my first time and probably my last unless the group eats there and I don't wanna be left out.
