Skyline Taphouse

What a beautiful experience and restaurant! We took the scenic chair lift up for the live band and barbecue event and had a wonderful time! Absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet with all the barbecue chicken, salmon, vegetables you name it and even some lovely moist carrot cake for dessert. We really enjoyed the band they had playing on the terrace. Absolutely perfect experience, I recommend!

This is a fun destination on a hot summer day. The ride up the ski lift was amazing with the clear mountain skies. And the food was all homemade. And it's hard to beat sitting outside on the deck looking out over God's creation.

nice staff but short on options to eat. burger, vegey burger, hot dog, chicken fingers or a salad and that is about it. they didn't have the vegey burger when we were there. everything is a bit outdated and dingy but it is not like I was expecting anything fancy. since there were not many people there and it was the summer time you really got a chance to see what it all looks like without the snow. Going up to the top on the lift is very peaceful!

Took the scenic charlift ride up to this lodge at the top of the mountain in the summer (that is the only way to access). They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating with views overlooking the surrounding mountains. Food options are basic (burger, hot dog, etc), but we stopped in for a cocktail. They had a small, full bar near the entrance with a limited cocktail menu and few beers on tap

This was a really great little hidden gem for us. We go to big bear a couple of times a year, And this ski chair ride up to the top of the mountain. Where they serve killer beer and cocktails. And some really good burgers and hot dogs. Like nice quality waygu burgers. And homemade kettle chips and other side dishes that are awesome. Even got some vegetarian options. I don't remember homeboy's name behind the bar who took our order. But he was awesome, made me his specialty Margarita, and it was over the top. The view from up there was amazing. You can get the chair lift. And lunch for 35 bucks way worth it. Nice area to hike or if you mountain bike, this is the Mecca.
