I just love this amazing place in Woodruff. The food is very good and the service outstanding! We were created immediately upon Entering by Greg, the bartender. The server, Kaycee, provided a detailed description of the menu items including the specials. We ordered the Swedish meatballs, the bacon wrapped dates and the fondue. The presentation was delightful and food delicious. The cocktail were prepared beautifully and very tasty. We love the sparkly, quiet and cozy atmosphere, and we were made to feel like welcomed guests. Give SKAL a try, you won't regret it!

Excellent first time here! We love the atmosphere, cool bar and friendly staff. The drinks are fantastic! Fish fry was so great, as were the bacon wrapped dates. Can't wait to go back and try more on the menu.

Great find in Woodruff! We love stopping at the Rocky Reef Brewing Co and now we found the perfect place to get food at near by. (My husband said the atmosphere inside Skal was great though, so no need to only carry out!) We got the Tuna, dates and burnt ends. Really great!

This is a needed culinary niche in the Northwoods. Not the usual fare with inventive speciality cocktails. We enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese and the smoked salmon dip. We also brought home some soups to enjoy for lunch. All were delicious. We each had a speciality cocktail: Swede Summer and a Buckthorn Berry Old Fashioned. The wait staff and bartender could not have been more friendly and all who were there on a rainy Tuesday evening seemed to be having a great time. It’s not large, so reservations might become important on the weekends. It was nice to pop in for cocktails and appetizers, but we’ll be back for dinner soon! I don’t know what the decor was before, but they did an outstanding job with the interior, service ware and lighting! A wonderful gem in Woodruff!
