Slackwater Pizza SLC

From the moment we arrived to celebrate my son’s birthday at his favorite place, we were greeted with excellent attention. The hostesses were incredibly friendly and prepared a large table for all of us, which meant so much. The waitstaff, especially our waitress, was excellent. She was so kind to the children and to everyone in our group. We were there as a family with toddlers and babies, and everything felt easy, comfortable, and welcoming. The children behaved great, and it turned into a wonderful family gathering. The food arrived quickly, the beer was very cold and delicious, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the celebration. The ambience and atmosphere were warm and beautiful. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place.

Great pizza spot! Beers were super cheap, Utah laws are weird so we had to wait a little before being served. Pizzas were slightly bigger than personal sized with some super creative topping choices. We got the hot honey pepperoni and the green goddess. The hot honey was way better, the sweet and spicy paired together; the green goddess was good but not nearly as flavorful

The Great: The service is fantastic. The bread with the hummus appetizer is fantastic. The Good: Atmosphere is solid where the music isn’t interfering with the conversation. The Bad: The hummus was refrigerator cold, which tells me it’s not fresh. Not even same day. The bread with it was a complete grand slam to end with cold hummus. Unfortunate as the flavor was good. Summary: This is a perfect place for a generation that grew up eating lunchables at school. It’s going WOW people that don’t know what good gravy is or quality Italian meats. If you ever lived in a place with good Italian food, this place might disappoint with its canned tomato sauce. The bread/dough is fantastic and if they can make a sauce this place will be reputable for ppl that grew up outside Utah.

I visited here from Florida to meet my long distance boyfriend for the first time, we got an airbnb down town so you can just walk here! The place was buzzing and there is a waitlist but they were fast, we were gonna do take out but then decided to sit at the bar and they brought us our pizza. We ordered cheese sticks too and some ipas, sooo good. The service was really fast too. Also I have to comment on the decor and art all over, brings the place to life and such a chill vibe. I love the local artists sticker machine, so cool to see this city support local artists! Very surprised by how good the pizza was! So many options to choose from too. Well you can tell by the picture that it was frigging delicious!! The chicken wings were so tasty and had a little crisp to them and that pizza, Sparta, was amazing. Perfect light, crisp crust and so flavorful!! I will definitely be back to this place! Huge beer selection and friendly service. Was starting to get busy when we got there right around 5, so joined waitlist but ended up finding a couple stools at the bar and by the time we left the waitlist was quite long I'm sure. Definitely a busy place but oh so worth it.
