Slanging Tacos

Found a new favorite spot right next door to my job! Slanging Tacos is located inside The Mint bar off Sahara, and it’s a total vibe. The food was incredible—super high-quality ingredients and very filling. Since they’re inside The Mint, I had to grab a Long Island to go with my meal, and it didn't disappoint. The bartender was super cool, and the overall service was top-notch. A highlight of the visit was the owner of Slanging Tacos coming out personally to thank me for stopping by and even hooked me up with some stickers. It’s that kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back. I’ll definitely be back soon, especially to catch some of their future lowrider events! Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.

What a great place to eat. We got to meet the owners and the food was absolutely delightful. The bandana wrap tacos and the Asad tacos are my favorite. Make sure to try the pineapple salsa! Amazing. Im so happy right now!

This place absolutely delivers. The energy is buzzing, the food is dialed in, and every bite hits with intention. Bold flavors, solid execution, and that crave-worthy factor that keeps you thinking about it after you leave. You can tell care goes into what’s coming out of the kitchen, and it shows. Pair that with a fun, lively atmosphere and you’ve got a spot that understands good food and good vibes. Easily a go-to and a must-recommend.

Slanging Tacos has the best quesabirria I’ve ever eaten! I first tried their tacos at a pop-up event and was blown away. I got the carne asada birria tacos and the quesabirria — both were extraordinarily flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and packed with generous portions. A few months later, The trademark black taco truck was at another event. I saw the owner Chef Nery, walking through the parking lot. I stopped him briefly to compliment his food. He was in full prep mode, , clearly busy. — he acknowledged me, was in a rush. What stood out was later that day, after the rush slowed he came back and chopped it up with me. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciated that. I understood exactly what it’s like to be in a rush, so the gesture meant a lot. Now Chef Nery is my friend —

I must say that I am addicted to the Slangin shrimp tacos, and the BIRRIA bombs. I’m A health conscientious individual however, a friend of mine told me to check them out for my cheat days. Let me tell you these tacos are my cheat day go to.. they are so delicious and mouthwatering!! They seriously put a smile on my face because of the flavor profile. I had read recently that they don’t like the idea of the establishment inside the mint bar, but let me tell you do not let that deter you from getting your tacos or your food from slinging tacos, order your food and take it to go!! It is worth a few minutes of smoke inhalation 😆 all joking aside, I will not let the atmosphere deter me from ordering foods and supporting this amazing entrepreneur. Thankfully, when I’ve gone, there are no patron
