Slim Chickens

My first impression was this place is clean. I went to the bathroom to washy hands and had to be one of the cleanest fast food bathrooms I had ever been in and bonus, they actually have hot water in the sink. Next, the staff was warm and welcoming and answered any questions we had with a smile. Third, they have the good ice, the ice nuggets. So before I even tried the food, I was loving this place. And let me tell you they didn't disappoint. Some of the best tenders I have had from a fast food place, plus they give you options for your side. I had the wrap and fried pickles and my daughter-in-law had the tenders and fries. Both of us were impressed and left happy that we gave it a try.

Our food was phenomenal! We passed by this place on the way to a car show and gave it a try- I’m so glad we did- great service - very very friendly team! Next time I’m gonna try the fried okra and banana pudding - nom nom

I recently visited Slim Chickens in Sema, NC, and overall, I had a decent experience. I ordered the 5-piece chicken tenders with fries and tried a couple of their different sauces. While the chicken was cooked well, I’d say the flavor was just okay—nothing that really stood out or made me feel like I’d have to come back right away for it. The fries were a bit more satisfying but still pretty standard for this type of fast food. My friend ordered the chicken club sandwich, and they had a similar experience—again, it was okay, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. One highlight of the meal, though, was the Mason Jar Brownies with toffee. Those were definitely a treat! Sweet, rich, and a great way to finish off the meal. First time at this location, the food was phenomenal. Best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time. Their sandwiches are good also. Friendly staff, fast and efficient fresh food. We got chicken tenders and mac & cheese and one of those brownie desserts absolutely amazing if you haven’t been I would definitely recommend checking out this location. The wife even said she was impressed and would go back.

We first tried Slim Chickens a month ago. Then again tonight. The first time chicken tenders were moist and tender. This time they had some tough pieces and they were only about 3 inches long. The fries seemed like they had sat under the heat lamp a while. All of the food was better on the first visit. Variations in quality is normal depending on the crew working any particular day. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. We’ll try something else from the menu next time. Plan on filling your own soda after buying the cup and clearing your own table. They give you a number to set on your table then an employee brings your food to you. But they don’t check to see if you need anything after that. The plus side of that is you don’t have to leave a tip for your waitress. Since you don
