Slim Chickens

Tonya was phenomenal!!! I went through the drive thru and she was the cashier! She was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. She did everything perfectly and with a smile in her voice and on her face, extremely impressed. I'm not certain I've gotten this good of service when I went through a drive through ever before in my life.

"Slim Chicken" was my friend Ken Butler's nickname back on the kickball field in middle school. We'd all yell "Bring in the outfield, Slim Chicken is at the plate!" But I really enjoyed my lunch from Slim Chickens in Statesboro today. I had the classic meal 4 piece tender. It was a good value, the chicken was tasty and I appreciated the extra garlicky flavor on the garlic toast. If you like the other chicken tender places, you should really try Slim Chickens in Statesboro .

Better than PDQ. Chicken tenders were good. Service, meat. We stood waiting for 3 employees to take order. There were two of us there, all three employees, made it a point to avoid eye contact doing other tasks but clearly they could see we were standing at the counter to order in fact one of them walked within 2 ft of us but did not even acknowledge we were standing there and that they might need a minute. Like I said food is better than PDQ however the service is terrible. We had a $40 order and not so much as a thank you.

This is the second time we have visited this location. We ordered as soon as we walked in and had our food within 5 mins. It was hot and the chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly. The fried okra was a good side option.

This was my first time eating at Slim Chickens and I give the food between a 1-10, a big 10. The tenders tasted delicious ànd were juicy and tender. The homemade fries were also good and well seasoned, but not over seasoned like some places do their homemade fries. The Texas toast was also good; you can definitely taste the garlic butter when u bite into it. When it comes to your drink, they put your name on it, which minimizes your drink going to someone else #I like that. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and hands down it was so good. As you can see from the pic I posted they give u a large straw to use, which makes it so easy to drink your milkshake, unlike every other place I frequent, I receive a small straw that I have to deep throat just to barely get my milkshake to pass through to
