Slows Bar Bq Ann Arbor

Food was really good. I had ribs, brisket and chicken breast. I didnt care too much for the sauce they had already on the chicken. But everything else was good. Brisket was soooo tender and the ribs were on point. That was my favorite. I had Mac and cheese and Green beans. The sides were ok. I was expecting the green beans to be cooked differently. They are still hard but flavored well. The Mac and cheese kinda had more cheese than noodles. But over all I enjoyed my food. I would come again.

Was excited to eat here because I had great memories of the Detroit location. Overall, I would not recommend. I went with another person and we split a few items so we could try a variety of foods. The service was excellent, and the baked beans were delicious, but I’m giving three stars because: - the brisket was dry - the caesar salad dressing was bland and seemed watered down - the corn bread was dry - the Mac and cheese seemed as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile - the coleslaw was decent, but lacking salt - the prices were high, which can be rationalized if the food is great, but this was not the case. Hopefully Slow’s can turn things around. I won’t be coming back any time soon.

The yardbird is delicious. And the carrot cake is a must-try. The best carrot cake I’ve ever had! The place is really clean and the service is excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

Had an early lunch there on a Saturday and there's really nothing to be critical of. Our server was prompt, attentive, and friendly. The food came out quick, hot, and fresh. My wife and I each got one of the combo plates (which was far too much food for lunch!) We easily could have split one combo plate between us. The drink menu is not overcomplicated and lengthy. Brisket -- good. Pulled pork -- good. Honestly I was most impressed by the pulled chicken. I feel like at most places pulled chicken is just kinda "meh". But I really liked it here, even more than the pork I think. The apple BBQ sauce was my favorite while my wife really enjoyed the NC-style. Overall a great visit. I feel like they've worked out the kinks I've read from earlier reviews. I will say we were probably the 2nd part

I was a regular customer of blue tractor before they closed. I’ve tried the new Slows in AA and had been pleasantly impressed. However, today, on my visit there was a long nasty hair in my brisket. The server was super unapologetic, and simply took a couple of bucks off my bill and that was it. I would likely have been a regular customer, but after this experience it makes you wonder what else they are overlooking. Will not be back. You lost my business! Horrible service and food! Do NOT COME HERE!
