Smith and Betts Barbecue - Springdale

I like this place, I hope it lasts. It feels like it's a barbeque truck that upgraded to a proper store. The food was pretty good and not very expensive, my two favorite things about any restaurant. We all tried different things, too much to go into, I like the brisket the best.

I cannot begin to explain how good this food is especially for the price. We were feeling snacky so we stopped by to get some bbq fries and egg rolls. They were both amazing and the sauce is extremely savory. The customer service was great. It felt like I was back home eating bbq. We will be coming back to try more of the menu.

First time trying Smith and Betts. I have not been to their other location. They just opened this location recently. So if you haven't noticed it before, its brand new. I got the hot link dinner with 2 sides. Went with mac n cheese and hashbrown casserole. The mac n cheese is good. But the real winner is the hashbrown casserole. It alone should be its own meal. Throw some meat on it and sauce, boom! The hot links had some kick to them. Not enough to dissuade your mom from trying them, but enough to give them some flavor. I opted for the spicy sauce as well. Good flavor on it as well. Not so spicy where it hurts. I know there are a lot of chain fast food places on Sunset, STOP EATING AT THEM. Buy local, its better quality, and its not funding a giant corporation.

Tried this today and it was very good! Online ordering was very easy and order was ready on time. Love the drive thru window for pick up. Ordered the brisket french dip and rib plate. Both were wonderful and very fresh! We will be back. Great addition to the Tontitown area!

Judging from the five star reviews I would have to say people seriously don't know what good food is. Pros: Easy online ordering and convenient pickup window. Cons: Food was tasteless right down to the fries and okra. All the meats were covered in grease and had no distinguishable seasoning. We asked for spicy bbq sauce and received none so we can't comment. The fries and okra soggy and no salt. Asked for Texas toast and received a tiny sad looking roll. Friday night 6pm and only two people in the dining area, still they could not get the order right. Bottom line, doesn't come anywhere close to the major competition in the area. We were bummed to lose forty dollars for what we received. Really had high hopes.🙁
