If I lived closer to Smoak I'd honestly be there at least once a week. The owner, Bear, is super nice and is truly invested in providing the community a superior product. I had a combo platter with brisket, pulled pork, beans, mac and cheese, and a cornbread waffle. Everything was spectacular and the portions were sizable. Bear explained that he smokes meats in-house daily and makes all the sides and condiments from scratch. I didn't get to try it but I was intrigued by the smoked ketchup. Check Smoak out immediately - you won't be sorry!

The owner here is an all around great guy who loves to feed people, and it shows! We walked in and he immediately helped us and helped us decide on our meal. Probably the absolute best BBQ I have ever had. Pulled pork with slaw and corn bread - perfect! And the corn bread was pressed in a waffle iron 🤤 SO DELICIOUS

The pork burnt ends were fantastic. Great place. The owner was so friendly. We tried just about everything. The kielbasa was amazing, and the brisket was spot on. We will be back to try the pulled pork and the homemade sauces.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is hands down some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The smoked brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ribs had the perfect balance of smoky and savory, and the creamy mac and cheese made an excellent side dish. On top of the incredible food, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the owner Robert, is an incredibly humble and hospitable person who provides an exceptional service.

Absolutely stellar bbq. We need a couple great bbq places near Scranton and this is one of them. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork is always on point. Bear runs a great operation. Pay him a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
