Smoakhouse Ranch

As always this place is wonderful. The cabin is a nice retreat from the busy hustle and bustle of the city. Brittany was a fantastic hostess and made sure we had treats to give the farm animals and anything else we needed. We had a great campfife going and was able to just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the country. If you are looking for a getaway to just relax and unwind this is the place to go!!! We will be back again for sure!

I love the Smokehouse ranch. It's absolutely beautiful and the hostess and her dad were so accommodating. She brought us a bucket of food to feed the animals, she brought us firewood, the property is breathtaking! If you want a getaway in the country far away from all your worries I highly suggest this place! The towns people are so nice. There wasn't a unfriendly soul around. We stayed in cabin 2 ,it's small if you have a bigger crowd get one of the other units.

The is the perfect place to disconnect, socially distance and live the simple life. Our 5 and 8 year olds had a blast feeding the animals, collecting chicken eggs and running free. We loved getting to know the all the animals. There are donkeys, cows, a horse, a pony, goats, a tortoise, chickens, peacocks, a bunny and a bunch of barn cats, including a new litter of adorable kittens! ||||The "cabin" we stayed in was really a mobile home with wood siding, but it had everything we needed (A/C, a bathroom and a small kitchen). It was stocked with milk, eggs, fruit, cereal and muffins. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft. We made s'mores over the campfire every night. We had a lovely stay at The Smoakhouse Ranch. The farm was perfect for our kids. They absolutely loved feeding the animals and running around the farm. They didn’t want to leave. Debbie is extremely friendly and hospitable. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The moment we arrived, she gathered our kids on her golf cart and gave them a tour of the farm to meet all of the animals. She even had fresh buckets of food and treats waiting for the kids everyday so they could feed the animals and fish when we returned to the farm in the late afternoons/evenings. The scenery is beautiful, and the area is super quiet and relaxing. It’s definitely a place to unplug. ||We stayed in Cabin 1 which is similar to a tiny home (small trailer). It's one our favorite. Fresh air wonderful poeple.. close to Sisters buffet, Brandford the best food just north of there.In High Springs,the Great Indoors, fabulous restaurant south of the ranch. Food at the ranch is home cooking everything to fix your other meals or hit either restaurants and enjoy the farm and it's layer back style.
