Smokey Mo’s BBQ here in Temple, Texas truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and genuine smiles. The customer service was top-tier — friendly, attentive, and professional. Even when I picked up my order, they thanked me sincerely and made sure I was taken care of before I left. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. I placed my order over the phone, and let’s be honest — sometimes with takeout you feel like you need to double-check the bag to make sure everything’s there. Not this time. Every single item was included, and not just tossed in. The food was packaged thoughtfully and arranged in a way that kept each item separated, maintaining its individual flavor and integrity. We took a trip, from alllllll the waaaaaaay from the little River academy….. lol But I am super happy that we did, Our first time and did not disappoint the Brisket was excellent, the sausage, all the meats were perfect. The cost isn’t killer either. Bring your family.

Delicious! Went with a coworker at lunch time to try for the first time. Everything was so clean and organized. Ordering was simple all of the bonus fixings were available for self serve. Overall, everyone was kind and courteous. It was a great experience. The chicken was great, juicy, and had a nice smokey texture. 10/10 will be back

Ive had catering from this restaurant at a work event. Food was pretty decent! Decided to stop by to check it out, I like the simple breakfast options the have as well. Not alot of places have a breakfast bowl you can build and i think thats nice, especially for those trying to stick to low carb or certain dietary restrictions! Red salsa wasn't the best imo but the green was great super good flavor and the right amount of spice. Great atmosphere and pleasant staff.

We did an order through the app for pick up. The only negatives for us were the pork ribs and the amount of smoke on certain items. The pork ribs were a little off tasting, and some portions had way too much salt. The pork belly burnt ends were a very pleasant surprise. The brisket was good. They were sweet and sticky. The homemade roasted cream corn was tasty, the coleslaw was run of the mill not the greatest. The staff was great and friendly the way an establishment should be. It was a great first visit.
